Richmond, VA – sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt, the nation’s leading frozen yogurt franchise named America’s Best Frozen Yogurt by The Daily Meal, will return to BK Racing for both races at Richmond International Raceway in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. Driver Gray Gaulding will meet with fans for autographs and photos at the sweetFrog store in his hometown of Colonial Heights, V.A. (located in the Southgate Square Shopping Center at 72 Southgate Square) on April 4th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm ET, and the No. 23 sweetFrog Toyota Camry will be on display.
sweetFrog made their NASCAR debut with BK Racing in 2016. sweetFrog is one of the nation’s largest chains of self-serve premium frozen yogurt retail stores offering dozens of best-in-class flavors and toppings of your choice. The frozen yogurt chain was launched in Richmond, Virginia in 2009. sweetFrog currently has over 340 stores in 27 states, and international locations in Egypt and the Dominican Republic.
“I’m excited to partner with sweetFrog for both Monster Energy Series races at Richmond this year,” said Gaulding. “They have been a great partner of BK Racing and I’m looking forward to representing them both on and off the race track. Growing up in Colonial Heights, V.A., just twenty minutes from sweetFrog’s headquarters, I was introduced to the brand early and have always enjoyed stopping in for a treat with my family. It’s impressive to see how they’ve grown into a household name.”
“We’re proud to sponsor Gray Gaulding’s No. 23 BK Racing car because he is committed to pursuing greatness as a NASCAR star,” said sweetFrog CEO Patrick Galleher. “Gaulding and sweetFrog have a lot in common – rising starts with humble Richmond roots who are dedicated to community service. We look forward to spending time with countless loyal sweetFrog customers at our Colonial Heights location next Tuesday as we celebrate the formation of this fantastic partnership.”
“Everyone at BK Racing loves working with the wonderful folks at sweetFrog almost as much as we love the product,” said Doug Fritz, BK Racing Chief Marketing officer. “Next week will be a great opportunity to have Gray visit a local sweetFrog location and get to know the fans and staff. The sweetFrog paint scheme has been a fan favorite, and I’m very excited to see it on track again at Richmond in April and September.”
