Danica Patrick’s smile will get a boost with Friday’s sponsorship announcement. Aspen Dental will be on her #10 Chevrolet for the races at Las Vegas and Atlanta next season.
Aspen Dental, based out of Syracuse, NY, has been on Ryan Newman’s car the past two seasons driving for Stewart-Haas Racing. With Newman’s exit from the team, the sponsorship shifts to Patrick’s car. The rest of the schedule, 34 points paying races plus two exhibition races, GoDaddy.com will be the primary sponsor as they have this year.
“The addition of a new partner to the No. 10 Chevrolet is a big milestone for me, and I feel fortunate to have Aspen Dental join GoDaddy beginning in 2014,” Patrick said. “I was in Syracuse a few weeks ago to meet the Aspen team and was impressed by their commitment to making sure people have access to quality oral health care. I’m proud to team up with Aspen Dental and shine a spotlight on a part of health care that doesn’t get a lot of attention.”
“We’ve been proud to be a part of the Stewart-Haas Racing family for the past two years and are thrilled to team up with Danica,” said Bob Fontana, president and CEO of Aspen Dental Management, Inc. “As part of our mission to give America a healthy mouth, we’re dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of oral health care, and Danica’s connection with racing fans will help us turn up the volume on that conversation.”
Before she can work on her smile, it’ll all be about smiling after Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 500 from the Talladega Superspeedway. Patrick has been fast in her previous restrictor plate starts and will look to score another top-10 finish.
