Brian Scott on Iowa: “It was really exciting to be a part of the inaugural Nationwide Series event at Indy last week. We didn’t finish as well as we would have liked to, but we did move up one spot in the points standings. So that was good. We’re looking forward to getting back to Iowa this weekend. I really like racing there. It’s a short track but has faster speeds. One of the best parts about Iowa is the crowd. They always manage to have a sellout crowd. This time around it’s a night race, so that will make it even more exciting. We’re looking forward to getting a strong finish for Dollar General and our 11 team under the lights at Iowa Speedway this weekend.”
Kevin Kidd on Iowa: “In our last race at Iowa we had a decent car, but feel like we have room for improvement. We really enjoy racing at Iowa. The fan turnout there is always impressive. It sounds like the turn one tunnel bump has been corrected some. This will throw an added wrinkle into the setup plan for this weekend. Avoiding trouble and having a car that can rotate well while still maintaining good drive off the corner are the keys to Iowa.”
