Austin Dillon is an American stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing. His grandfather is team owner Richard Childress, his father is a former driver Mike Dillon, and his brother Ty Dillon also competes in the Cup Series.

On his way to the Cup Series, Dillon won both the Truck Series championship (2011) and Xfinity Series championship (2013). He is one of three drivers to accomplish this, the others are Greg Biffle (2000 Truck champ and 2002 Xfinity champ) and Johnny Benson Jr (1995 Xfinity champ and 2008 Truck champ).

He has won two of the four “crown jewel” races in the Cup Series. His first win came in the 2017 Coca-Cola 600. Then his second career win came in the 2018 Daytona 500 after punting Aric Alimrola on the last lap.
