Danica Patrick is a retired American racing driver. She drove in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2012-2018, making 191 career starts. Prior to NASCAR, she found success in the IndyCar Series, winning once (Japan 2008), capturing three pole positions, and seven podium finishes.
In 2010, she moved to NASCAR running the Xfinity Series on a part-time basis. She ran one full-time season in 2012, capturing one pole position and four top-10 finishes. She moved to the Cup Series full-time in 2013 and captured one pole position and seven top-10 finishes along the way.
After running the 2018 Daytona 500, she retired from NASCAR. Later that year she ran the Indianapolis 500, which marked her final race in any series.
