04/27/2009 – Team co-owner Larry McClure has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for pleading guilty to five counts of filing a false income-tax return, obstructing the investigation and lying to Internal Revenue Service investigators.

01/13/2008Morgan-McClure Motorsports has decided to cease operations. If sponsorship is found, they will open back up.

01/11/2008Morgan-McClure Motorsports announces that they will cease operations after failing to acquire sponsorship for the 2008 season.

01/05/2008Morgan-McClure Motorsports confirms Ward Burton will not return to the team in 2009.

12/13/2006 – State Industries Inc, with their State Water Heaters brand, will sponsor Ward Burton and the #4 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Chevrolet in 2007.

07/29/2003David Reutimann will drive the #04 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Pontiac at Indianapolis.

07/29/2003 – Robert Pressley will drive the #4 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Pontiac at Indianapolis.

07/22/2003Brett Bodine will drive the #4 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Pontiac at Pocono.

07/16/2003 – Johnny Sauter will drive the #4 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Pontiac at Chicagoland. Sauter will be paired with Chris Carrier as crew chief and Steve Gray as car chief.

07/16/2003David Reutimann will drive the #04 Morgan-McClure Motorsports Pontiac at Chiagoland. Tim Brewer will serve as crew chief and Robert Larkins as car chief.
