Spire Motorsports was founded just before the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season as a subsidiary of Spire Sports + Entertainment.

11/27/2019 – NASCAR has penalized Spire Motorsports 50 owner points for their role in altering the finishing order of the NASCAR Cup Series season finale at Homestead. Team owner T.J. Puchyr was fined $50,000. (Press Release)
